Epoxy flooring has become the first choice for factories, garment units, hospitals, showrooms, pharmaceutical plants and car parks in Bangladesh. If you are planning a project, you need a clear answer to one question: what is the epoxy flooring price in Bangladesh in 2026 per square foot?
Epoxy flooring in Bangladesh costs roughly Tk 60 to Tk 600 per square foot, depending on the system. A thin epoxy coating starts near Tk 60 to Tk 110, self-leveling epoxy runs about Tk 150 to Tk 250, and heavy-duty epoxy mortar or decorative systems cost more. Below is a detailed breakdown so you can budget with confidence.
What Is Epoxy Flooring?
Epoxy flooring is a seamless resin-based floor system made from epoxy resin and hardener. Once cured, it forms a hard, glossy, chemical-resistant surface that bonds to concrete. It is dust-free, easy to clean and available in many colours. Learn more about our systems on the Epoxy Flooring Solutions in Bangladesh page.

Factors That Affect Epoxy Flooring Cost in Bangladesh
1. Floor condition and preparation
Old paint, oil stains, weak concrete and moisture need diamond grinding, crack repair and primer. Preparation can be 20 to 30 percent of total cost, and it decides how long the floor lasts.
2. System thickness
Thicker systems use more resin and filler, so cost rises with thickness. Choose by traffic load, not by price alone.
3. Resin quality and brand
Imported resin from reputed manufacturers costs more than low-grade local resin, but it resists yellowing, chemicals and abrasion far better.
4. Project area
A 20,000 sq ft factory gets a lower per sq ft rate than a 500 sq ft office.
5. Moisture and substrate
If the slab has rising damp, a moisture barrier is needed. Where leakage exists, combine with waterproofing.
6. Colour, finish and extras
Anti-slip aggregates, anti-static additives, line marking, skirting and metallic pigments add cost.
7. Timeline
Urgent night-shift or weekend work may include extra labour charges.
Epoxy Flooring Cost for Different Projects
Factory and garment floors: Self-leveling or epoxy mortar at Tk 150 to Tk 320 per sq ft gives chemical and forklift resistance.
Car parking and basements: Use a durable coating with line marking. See Epoxy Car Parking Solutions.
Hospitals, labs and pharma: Seamless, hygienic systems that meet cleanliness standards.
Showrooms, malls and restaurants: Metallic or glossy self-leveling floors for premium appearance.
Home garages and balconies: Thin or build-up coatings are cost-effective.

How Epoxy Floors Are Installed (Step by Step)
- Site inspection and moisture test
- Diamond grinding and shot blasting
- Crack repair and joint treatment
- Primer coat
- Base coat or self-leveling layer
- Broadcast aggregate or pigment (if required)
- Top coat or sealer
- Curing for 24 to 72 hours before traffic
Skipping steps 2 to 4 is the leading cause of epoxy peeling in Bangladesh.
Why Epoxy Floors Fail and How to Avoid It
- Moisture in slab: Test before application.
- Poor grinding: Resin cannot grip a smooth slab.
- Wrong mix ratio: Always use measured batches.
- Low-quality resin: Cheap resin yellows and cracks.
- No expansion joint planning: Cracks reflect through.
If your slab is new or dusty, a Floor Hardener can strengthen it before coating.
Tips to Get the Best Epoxy Flooring Price
- Share accurate floor area, usage and traffic details.
- Ask for a written scope including preparation and thickness.
- Request a sample or past project visit.
- Avoid quotations that do not mention thickness in millimetres.
- Bundle multiple services, such as floor plus epoxy wall coating, for a better rate.
- Compare brand, warranty and cure time, not just the rate.
